Convenience

To ensure that you can have the clean workplace you want and need, we do our best to provide a full range of commercial cleaning services, including all of the following – on whatever basis suits you:

Flexibility

We are very flexible when it comes to providing our office cleaning services. This doesn’t mean that we are flexible about how clean things need to be – quite the contrary, in fact. We always ensure that all our work is done to a very high standard. Instead, we are flexible when it comes to scheduling.

We know that businesses come in all types and do all sorts of fascinating things. This means that they don’t need the same sort of cleaning or the same frequency of cleaning. Let’s take a few examples to illustrate this. First, consider a medium-sized accounting firm with, say, 20–25 people on the staff who come into work every day – and then you’ve got the clients coming in as well, which means that there quite a few people bringing in debris on their shoes and using the toilets. This workplace will need a daily clean to ensure that everybody, clients and employees alike, stay healthy and to keep the place looking sharp and professional. Now consider a small design company with three people on the team, one of whom goes out to visit clients on site quite frequently. This business won’t need the place cleaned up quite as often – maybe weekly visits from the janitor might suit them better. However, an equally small cake decorating business will need very frequent cleaning and possibly someone to supply them with gear for cleaning as they go because they handle food.

Because of this diversity, we let you, our customers, select how often you want one of our hard-working janitors to come around and give your workplace a good cleaning. You can get in a daily office cleaner (which is the most popular option, I’ll have to say), or you can get someone in weekly or twice a week or whatever suits you. Or you can just call us in on a one-off basis to see what we can do! You can also let us know if there’s anything that you don’t want cleaned – not touching the boss’s desk, for example, even if it’s cluttery! This is the sort of thing that we will discuss during our initial site visit when we get to meet you and vice versa.

On top of that, we can also provide you with services that are usually booked on an incidental basis, such as end of tenancy cleaning for businesses, deep cleaning and spring cleaning.

Flexibility in scheduling also means that we let you choose the time of day that you would prefer your janitor to come around. Some businesses like to get going early in the morning; others like to stay open later. Whatever your preferred office hours are, we will fit in with what you do and come at the time of day you want us to. And of course we don’t charge extra for work carried out in the weekend or after hours for the very simple reason that these are the most efficient times to get office cleaning work done so we don’t get in the way of your busy staff members!

The other aspect of our flexibility relates to our equipment. In the ordinary course of things, we will bring all the gear needed to keep your business premises clean and hygienic, from the dusters through to the vacuum cleaners and floor polishing machines. However, if you already have some equipment on-site that you would prefer us to use, then we are more than happy to use your gear instead of our own. To take one example, you might have a policy in place of using natural cleaners only and you may have invested in some of these and have them tucked away in your janitor supplies cupboard. Rest assured that our cleaning team members know how to use natural cleaning products as well as the usual industrial products and we’ll be happy to use what you’ve got. We’ll also allow for the fact that we’re using your stuff on the invoice!

Reliability

To ensure that we offer you the very best in commercial cleaning, and to make sure that we are as reliable as we ought to be, Office Clean 2 Ltd chooses the best people for our team of janitors and we train them thoroughly. We put all our prospective team members through a police vetting check first thing to ensure that they have a history of trustworthiness. We also put them through an English language proficiency test to make sure that they will be able to communicate clearly with all of our customers.

After the initial vetting process, we put all our team members through a thorough training process so we know that they can clean to a high standard. This includes a period of cleaning under the supervision of a more experienced janitor.

Safety

Cleaning is an important job, especially for the health of your employees and customers. Like any work, it can have its hazards. However, we always insist that all our office cleaning work is carried out according to proper health and safety standards – and that’s for your benefit as much as ours. We go out of our way to avoid cross-contamination and we follow proper procedures, such as using separate equipment for “extra dirty” areas such as the toilets, bathrooms and urinals, and not using the same things we would use to clean the desks where you might want to put a cup of coffee or a sandwich (yuck – this one doesn’t bear thinking about for long).

We also have full insurance cover in place on all our office cleaning work, giving you that extra level of peace of mind. Insurance cover is a step that a lot of small-scale operators skip, but we know that it’s important, not only for your security but also for ours.

Customer Service And Communication

We like to keep in touch with our customers and keep the lines of communication open. What that means in practical terms is that if we notice something that needs repair (leaky taps in the toilet, for example) or if we think that something needs attention in some other way (e.g. the rubbish bins are nearly always overflowing, so installing another one or getting the waste removed more often might be a good idea), we’ll let you know.

We know that good communication is two-way, so we are always ready to hear from you and talk with you if you have any questions or if you want to change a few things – if the boss has now decided that he or she wants that desk cleaned now after all, for example!
